Works with the plugins you use.

If a plugin sends email through WordPress, SendWP sends it. Your store, your forms, your courses: nothing to set up in each one.

One plugin. Every email.

WordPress has one built-in way to send email, and nearly every plugin uses it. SendWP plugs in right there, so whatever sends the email, it takes the same reliable road.

  1. A plugin sends an email the normal WordPress way.

    Any plugin
  2. SendWP picks it up before it leaves your site, with no SMTP settings.

  3. We send it from your authenticated domain and log what happened.

The one exception: a plugin that connects to its own email service, instead of sending through WordPress, goes around SendWP. That’s rare, and the plugin’s settings will say so. If you already use an SMTP or mailer plugin, deactivate it once SendWP is connected, so the two don’t compete for your email.

For developers.

Send email with wp_mail() as you always have. While SendWP is enabled on a site, it takes over sending inside WordPress, so there’s nothing to change in your code.

  • wp_mail()Call it as usual. The recipients, CC and BCC, the sender, a Reply-To address, the HTML and plain-text bodies and attachments all go to SendWP.
  • phpmailer_initWhere SendWP takes over, while sending is enabled under Tools → SendWP. Turn it off there and WordPress sends the usual way.
  • SENDWP_PARTNER_IDDefine it in wp-config.php and every site you connect is credited to your partner account.
  • AttachmentsUp to 5 files and 5 MB per email. The limits and file types.
