# Getting Started

Set up SendWP, get your WordPress email delivered, and fix email that doesn't arrive. Start here to find your way around the docs.

## Introduction

SendWP sends the email your WordPress site already sends: password resets, form notifications, receipts and everything else that goes through `wp_mail()`. It sends them from your own domain and keeps a log of every one.

These guides are for site owners. They walk through setting SendWP up, reading your email log and fixing email that doesn't arrive, in plain words.

## Set Up SendWP

Getting SendWP running takes four steps, and [Getting started with SendWP](/docs/getting-started) covers each one:

1. [Install the plugin](/docs/getting-started#step-1-install-the-plugin) from your WordPress dashboard.
2. [Connect your site](/docs/getting-started#step-2-connect-your-site) to a SendWP account.
3. [Authenticate your domain](/docs/authenticating-your-domain), so inboxes trust your email.
4. [Check it's working](/docs/getting-started#step-4-check-its-working) by sending yourself an email.

## Your Email

Once SendWP is sending, your SendWP account shows what happened to every email:

## Finding Your Way Around

- **Search** from the box at the top of the sidebar. Matches appear as you type, and Enter shows every result.
- **The sidebar** groups the guides by topic. Open any section to see its pages.
- **Every page is available as Markdown**: add `.md` to its address. [The docs as Markdown](/docs.md) lists every page, which is handy for AI assistants and other tools.
